Ice Age Trail (September, October, November)
SEPTEMBER 9, 2018 WEATHER: sunny - high of 70 – little or no wind - Cornell, WI TRAVEL : Burlington to Rock River Leisure Estates, Newville, WI to Brunet State Park, Cornell, WI Brunet Island State Park does not accept site reservations after Labor Day , However, I did visit the park in July and decided that there most likely would be plenty of sites available on a first come-first served basis during mid-week September. Arrived about 1445 – Stie 6 – plenty deep – fairly level nard pack gravel, lots of shade from mature trees `- lots of room right and left - A state park – electric but no water – clean showers & toilets. Plenty of bike trails in the park – paved. On the flowage – good place for canoeing or kayaking Peaceful – even during the week during summer – full on weekends – make a reservation.between Memorial Day & Labor Day .. SEPTEMBER 10, 2018 ...
